You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose.
You can’t live your life for other people. You’ve got to do what’s right for you, even if it hurts some people you love.
Who will tell whether one happy moment of love, or the joy of breathing or walking on a bright morning and smelling the fresh air, is not worth all the suffering and effort which life implies?
When you have eliminated all which is impossible, then whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.
When the intellect and affections are in harmony; when intellectual consciousness is calm and deep; inspiration will not be confounded with fancy.
