For readers, one of life’s most electrifying discoveries is that they are readers – not just capable of doing it, but in love with it. Hopelessly. Head over heels.
That’s the curse of the reading class. We can be seduced by a good story even at the least opportune moments.
If you want to be a writer, you must do two things above all others: read a lot and write a lot.
Come to the book as you would come to an unexplored land. Come without a map. Explore it and draw your own map.
