The competitor to be feared is one who never bothers about you at all, but goes on making his own business better all the time.
You have to learn to be a healthy competitor, winning or losing. Because there can be a lot more losses than there are wins.
You have competition every day because you set such high standards for yourself that you have to go out every day and live up to that.
When I step onto the court, I’m ready to play. If you’re going up against me, you’d better be ready. If you’re not going to compete, I will dominate you.
That’s the nature of being a young guy – competition brings people closer. That’s how I bond with people.
And while the law of competition may be sometimes hard for the individual, it is best for the race, because it ensures the survival of the fittest in every department.
