I’ve always found the idea of death comforting. The thought that my life could end at any moment frees me to fully appreciate the beauty, and art, and horror of everything this world has to offer.

Perhaps we’ve grown so used to horror we assume there’s no other way.
The present is a veil between anticipation and horror. Lift the veil, and madness may follow.
I sometimes wonder if there’s horror in us all.
