Goodness is something to be chosen.
There’s a natural goodness born into us all. You can either cross that line into evil, or not. And it’s our life’s work to stay on the right side of that line.
Of those who like to put their faith in mankind’s inherent goodness, I have to ask, based on what, exactly?
The aeroplane and the radio have brought us closer together. The very nature of these inventions cries out for the goodness in men, cries out for universal brotherhood, for the unity of us all.
