That’s the lesson: Nothing is free. Everything we do has consequences.[Esa es la lección: nada es gratis. Todo lo que se hace tiene consecuencias.]
Sometimes, the choices one makes can lead to consequences we don’t intend.
Living without consequences is great, but then I started wondering, what am I living for? What am I building? If I’m always looking back, I’m never looking ahead. And then it hit me. We are who we are because of consequences.
It’s not that those of us who do reckless things don’t care about the consequences. No. We care as much as anyone else. It’s just that we can’t see them until it’s too late. We only see them when they are in front of our noses.[A los que hacemos cosas inconscientes no es que nos den igual las consecuencias, no. Nos importan tanto como a los demás. Es solo que no podemos verlas hasta que es demasiado tarde. Solo vemos esas consecuencias cuando están delante de nuestras narices.]
It’s not always our actions, but their aftermath that haunt us.
I told you… ignorance still has consequences.[to Moses]
Every action has its consequence.
