Imagine you were born in a poor family, in a poor city, in a poor country, and by the time you were 28 years old, you have so much money you can’t even count it. What do you do? You make your dreams come true.
My name is Alex Parrish. Protecting our country had always been my dream, but my life took a very drastic turn.
This country is on the brink of collapse. Has been for decades. This government doesn’t care about the people. It’s too broken, too corrupt.
This country would deport you if it could. Deep down, all of us have built a wall with all those we want to keep out with it. “You’re white? So am I. You’re welcome here, but not them.” “You believe in equality? So do I. You’re welcome here, but not anyone who disagrees.” We’re all very different from each other, and we don’t all think the same. This is why we have to stop believing that it’s possible to come to a resolution and admit what most of the world already knows. There’s no way we will stop fighting each other, which is why I’ve realized that if we want to survive, we have to fight as dirty as everyone else.[to Raina]
There’s a lot to be said for wild country, country that’s not in love with keeping track of where a man is every second of every day.
