Sometimes shiny things can tarnish.
Sometimes a little reminder that life is short can be a gift. Can give us that little extra push that we need.
So it only counts as love if it lasts forever. It’s forever that doesn’t exist. Love’s the only reason we’re here.
Once you lose everything, you realize the things that you had were ephemeral and transitory. They were never really yours in the first place.

If there’s a beginning, there must be an end. From creation, to struggle, to redemption. Life, no matter what, is being pulled towards a brighter future. And even if it doesn’t feel like it, right now is a blessing.
